Jones spent most of his early days in his hometown of Austin, along with his younger brother, Otto Jones.He enrolled in the University of Colorado Boulder for graduation.
Jones plans on getting his degree but is currently “on a break” from college and is serving as president of entertainment at Tonite, an events company cofounded by Sean “Diddy” Combs’s son Justin.
Jones made his on-screen debut in the 1999 film ‘Simpatico.’ From 2001 to 2003, he also featured in several movies, including ‘See Spot Run,’ ‘The Rookie,’ and ‘Bringing Down the House.’ Jones was one of the main characters of hit television sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’ He played the character of Jake Harper-the young and impressionable son of Jon Cryer’s role on the CBS sitcom.
Jones was just 9 years old when he was cast alongside Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Melanie Lynskey, Jennifer Taylor, and Marin Hinkle in the series.
By the age of 17, he became the highest paid child actor on TV.
